About

Free Roth IRA tools, built with care

A small independent team building the cleanest, most accurate Roth IRA calculators on the web — free, ad-free, and reviewed by CFP® professionals.

RothIRACalculator.us exists for one reason: to give every US saver a fast, accurate, beautifully designed Roth IRA calculator — for free, with no logins, no upsells, and no ads in the way.

Retirement is the single biggest financial decision most people make, and most online calculators treat it like an SEO afterthought — slow pages, intrusive ads, vague math, outdated limits. We built the opposite. Every number we show is grounded in IRS-published 2026 contribution limits and MAGI phase-out thresholds, every formula is documented, and every editorial guide is reviewed by a CFP® professional before it ships.

The calculators themselves run entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is logged, nothing is sold. If you choose to email yourself a printable report we collect only what's strictly required — and we delete it after delivery.

What we believe

Accuracy first

Every calculation uses IRS-published 2026 contribution and MAGI phase-out limits. We re-verify formulas every quarter and after each IRS revenue procedure.

Privacy by default

Calculators run entirely in your browser. We never log your inputs, never sell data, and never require an account to use any tool.

Cited & sourced

We link primary sources — IRS.gov, SSA.gov, Treasury.gov — for every numeric claim. No vague summaries, no marketing fluff.

Beautifully simple

Retirement math intimidates people. Our job is to make it feel approachable, with clean typography and zero ad clutter.

Editorial standards

Every editorial piece on this site goes through a four-step process before publication:

  1. Drafted by a personal-finance writer with at least eight years of experience covering retirement and tax topics.
  2. Cited against primary sources — IRS publications, Treasury notices, SSA bulletins — never against secondary blogs.
  3. Reviewed by a CFP® professional for accuracy, nuance, and compliance with current guidance.
  4. Dated and versioned so you always know when a guide was last verified against IRS limits.
